2025 World Masters Games Symposium Call for Papers
I. Background
The 2025 Taipei & New Taipei World Masters Games Symposium will be held on May 24–25, 2025, at Multifunctional Performance Hall of Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in Taipei City. This symposium aims to promote academic exchanges in international sports events research, sports industry research, sports competition research, sports science research and sports health research. The main themes of the symposium include: “Sustainability and Environment in Sports Events”, “Public Sports Welfare and Industry Innovation”, “Sports Intelligence and Technology”, “Sports Economics and Data”, “Paralympic Games and Education”, and "Sports for All". Experts, scholars, and master and doctoral students in related fields are encouraged to submit papers and register. The symposium will feature keynote speeches by distinguished athletes and experts, as well as several engaging thematic workshops. One highlight not to be missed is the welcome dinner, where all registered participants with accepted submissions can attend free of charge. This unique opportunity offers attendees the chance to dine and network with outstanding athletes and renowned scholars. VI. Registration and Enrollment
1. Submission Process:
This Symposium is free of enrollment charge. General participants and paper presenters are required to complete registration by filling out the application form on the official website. Paper presenters must also submit an abstract via the website. After submission, please check your registered email to confirm the submission details. The submission progress and status can be tracked on the conference website. Review results will be announced on April 24, 2025, on the website and via email. At that time, all participants (including general attendees and paper presenters) will receive a QR code for symposium check-in and entry.

VIII. Abstract Submission and Presentation Guidelines
1. Abstracts must be written in English, with a word limit of 500 words.
2. Submissions should contain the title of the paper, author's name, institution affiliation, e-mail address, research background, methodology, results and conclusions, and three to five keywords. All manuscripts will undergo a peer-review process.
3. Only abstracts submitted by the submission deadline (March 31) and accepted will be eligible for poster presentations. Authors will be notified of the abstract review results by April 24.
4. Poster Presentation:
This symposium only accepts poster presentations. Please review the following guidelines for poster design and presentation:
(1) Presentation Guidelines: Both poster content and oral presentations must be conducted in English.
(2) Poster Specifications: Orientation: vertical; Size: Width 90 cm, Height 120 cm
(3) Presentation Process: Please prepare a 3-minute oral presentation and explain it during the poster presentation.
(4) Poster Installation and Removal: Posters must be installed by 09:00 on May 24 and removed by 15:00 on May 25.
(5) Poster Presentation Certificate: After the presentation session, the certificate of presentation can be downloaded from the symposium’s online system.
(6) Symposium Participation Certificate: After the symposium concludes on May 25, the participation certificate can be downloaded from the online system.
