2025 World Masters Games Conference Call for Papers
I. Background
The 2025 Taipei & New Taipei World Masters Games Conference will be held on May 24–25, 2025, at Multifunctional Performance Hall of Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in Taipei City. This Conference aims to promote academic exchanges in international sports events research, sports industry research, sports competition research, sports science research and sports health research. The main themes of the Conference include: “Sustainability and Environment in Sports Events”, “Public Sports Welfare and Industry Innovation”, “Sports Intelligence and Technology”, “Sports Economics and Data”, “Paralympic Games and Education”, and "Sports for All". Experts, scholars, and master and doctoral students in related fields are encouraged to submit papers and register. The Conference will feature keynote speeches by distinguished athletes and experts, as well as several engaging thematic workshops. One highlight not to be missed is the welcome dinner, where all registered participants with accepted submissions can attend free of charge. This unique opportunity offers attendees the chance to dine and network with outstanding athletes and renowned scholars. VI. Registration and Enrollment
1. Submission Process:
This Conference is free of enrollment charge. General participants and paper presenters are required to complete registration by filling out the application form on the official website. Paper presenters must also submit an abstract via the website. After submission, please check your registered email to confirm the submission details. The submission progress and status can be tracked on the conference website. Review results will be announced on April 24, 2025, on the website and via email. At that time, all participants (including general attendees and paper presenters) will receive a QR code for Conference check-in and entry.

VIII. Abstract Submission and Presentation Guidelines
1. Abstracts must be written in English, with a word limit of 500 words.
2. Submitted content must include the paper title, author names (recommended not to exceed seven), affiliated institutions, email addresses, research background, methods, results, conclusions, and 3 to 5 keywords. All submissions will undergo a peer-review process.
3. Submission types include empirical research, systematic literature reviews, and comprehensive review articles. All are welcome for submission.
4. Only abstracts submitted by the submission deadline (March 31) and accepted will be eligible for poster presentations. Authors will be notified of the abstract review results by April 24.
5. Poster Presentation:
This conference accepts poster presentations only. Please carefully read the following instructions regarding poster design and presentation:
(1) Presentation Requirements: Both the poster content and the oral explanation must be presented in English.
(2) Poster Specifications: Posters must be vertically oriented, with dimensions of 90 cm (width) × 120 cm (height).
(3) Presentation Process: Presenters are required to attend the poster presentation session on May 25 from 10:00 to 11:00. During the poster display period, at least one author must be present to introduce the research content and answer participants' questions.

During the conference, there will be additional lectures and workshops. Please adhere strictly to the scheduled time for poster setup. If posters are not removed within the specified time, the staff will take them down and recycle them after the event. The organizers will not be responsible for keeping any posters. |
(5) Poster Removal Time: 17:00 ~18:00 May 25, 2025
(6) Certificate of Presentation: Upon completion of the poster presentation, a certificate will be emailed to presenters before June 30.
(7) Certificate of Attendance: A certificate of participation will be emailed before June 30, following the conclusion of the conference on May 25.
